History and Details: Growing up, Aidan didn't see his mother or father much at all. With his mother always gone doing her "unspeakable" things, and his dad being an Auror, he felt pretty much alone. His parents sent him to his moms mother and father's house, which was basically where he spent most of his time.
It was very boring to him and he hated it there. Thats when he turned to pranking his grandparents, but it was never anything to bad, mostly whoopee cushions, and fake puke on the floor. His grandparents got very tired of playing along and acting like he had really pranked them however, and they were old.
Aidan's grandparents were so old in fact, that sometimes they would forget to get him lunch or supper, so Aidan had to learn how to get his own food at the young age of four. This helped him to grow very independent.
Six years later, Aidan's grandparents became very anxious for him to receive a letter to Hogwarts, they were afraid that Aidan didn't have any magical powers, which would be a big disgrace to their family. Fearing this, they took Aidan and shut him into a closet and locked it, trying to get his magical powers to come out.
After an hour of being in the closet, Aidan began to cry in annoyance. When his mother came to pick him up after work that night, she became very angry at what they had done to her son, and quickly unlocked the door and took him home.
Aidan didn't go back to his grandparents house after that and began to stay at home instead. Aidan loved being left alone at his house. His parents home was located in the coutry side of Britain, and he spent a lot of time outside in the fields.
Finally, Aidan began showing signs of being a wizard. One day when he was in the field, it began to rain, he remembered wishing it would stop hitting him so he could play, when all the sudden it was like he had an invisible umbrella, and the rain soaked everything but himself.
His mom, who had been home at the time, saw everything and when her husband had come home that night she had told him the news.
Finally a few months later, it was Aidan's birthday. His parents, unfortunately had to work, but he'd woken up to a small brown barn owl sitting on his bedside table with a note attached that said "Happy birthday! Love, Mom and Dad. Aidan couldn't stop looking at the little owl that was all his own. After a while of looking at him, he decided on the name Edwin. That day, Aidan also recived his letter to Hogwarts.
While waiting for school to start, Aidan spent most of his time outside in the fields with Edwin. And when school was about to start, it was Edwin he brought to Diagon Ally, nor his mother or father had come with him, just gave him some money and sent him on his way.
Aidan was also alone on the day he went onto the train, but he was ok with that. While on the train, he didn't talk much to anyone, just sat talking to his owl until he arrived at school. Soon he arrived at Hogwarts he was excited about the sorting, knowing exactly where he would be placed.
"Slytherin"The sorting hat had cried out. The night, Aidan sent his owl with a note attached. "Made it into Slytherin!" The next day he received a letter back from his father that said,"Congrats! Your mother and I are so proud." That was the only time his parents had ever told him that they were proud of him.
