I know what you mean. That's why I still haven't gone over said guy's house when he wanted to hook up...no trust anymore. =/

...... Okay, what is this second-third business? I'M AN INNOCENT, DON'T JUDGE ME! (lolz I feel young)
Though a 12 year-old dating is a bit...off, for the lack of a better word.
YES Miss, return to roleplaying! And I don't have any cousins or other relatives other than immediate family in Canada. 'Cept my grandma, but she's close enough.
I feel so weird right here, when you girls are ranting on about dating and ... xD I want to stereotype "American" but that may or may not apply.

That was not a stupid question, I don't think. What? Sex-bases? I mean, I've heard of first, second, third. I know that they're based off of baseball (games) but I don't know what the represent. I get the feeling we're a bit more blunt and obvious over here, but I'm too...well, not on the field yet. xDD Damnit, I feel really weird. INNOCENCE! Considering experience, unlike my friend who I mentioned earlier JUST had THE TALK in school last week. ;; Should I be stereotyping? Or is it just the age? I mean...eww, 16 is less than 3 months away!!

They vary from place to place. It's different with girls and guys, but generally in Connecticut...1st is making out. 2nd is feeling up on girls, hj's on guys. 3rd is anything down south on girls, and bj's on guys, and home is all the way.
Mel, you're from NY, right? Is it about the same there?

I like your wording. ;; xDD I think we may or may not have the same ... bases things, then. Though baseball is not our sport, and that the listing would be a cultural influence of you Americans. xDDD

Eh, I dunno. I guess everyone judges it similarly though, I mean even if the bases aren't all classified the same, they'd be in a similar order.

I love this board!!! Haha, anyway, I've got a story. Okay, it starts when this girl is around three, maybe four, and she meets this guy. They become best friends, and stay that way for the next twelve years. Unfortunately, the girl has a crush on this guy, but he always has a girlfriend that she gets to hear all about. Although she doesn't like hearing about it, she listens because he's her best friend and always has been. She dates other guys, even though she doesn't like them as more than friends, in hopes of getting over him, but never can, and all of her relationships wind up failing. She can't keep a boyfriend for more than a few weeks because after that point they realize that she likes somebody else. To this day, this girl is still listening to his stories about his girlfriend and smiling and laughing, acting like nothing's wrong. Yes, this girl is in fact me. Sigh, it's not fair. I've known him for twelve years; they've only known him for a few months, yet they get the guy...

That is upsetting, Arye. =( Though I believe that to get over someone (this is one method, not THE method) is to find out WHY you like/crush on the person, and list the points you like about them and the points you don't. ;; My friend was hilarious when she figured out she didn't (really) like (anything about) him. xDDD Now...I wonder if the guys complain about the girls as much as the girls complain about the guys. Though girls are less likely to be jerks, just really...biatchy. xDD And slutty but I don't really want to talk so much of that. I have such a sheltered life... Is there a difference between a 'crush' and just 'liking' someone romantically? Or is that the same thing?

Is there a difference between a 'crush' and just 'liking' someone romantically? Or is that the same thing? Oh definitely! There's this insanely attractive guy who sits next to me in my Chemistry class, and although I guess I....like him romantically (if that's equivalent to lust), I'm not crushing on him. Just appreciating that he is insanely attractive.

I actual have a categorizing system. xDD This is what I talk about on the phone, when I actually use the phone and call that friend of mine. xDD
Romantic Love (crushes, liking, loving, etc) Hormonal Love (lust, REALLY appreciating looks...xD etc) Platonic Love (family, friends, etc)
So I guess my question was more for, what was YOUR opinion on the possible difference? And now I know. xDD And 'looking' may be its own category...

Hahaha, nice Cyn. (: I guess for me the difference is whether I could see myself in a relationship with them or not. Like the guy I mentioned above...he would /never/ date me, so I can't see us dating.

That actually is a good deciding factor. Until something hits you in the back of the head and you go: "OH WAIT ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE"
and then get hit again and that thought is no longer there.
-inexperienced- Once again, I feel weird, since I haven't really bothered with the "can you see yourself together" since I have no clue had that might possibly go. -immature-

Haha, I've been forced to mature too early. And trust me, it's hell. And I've stopped listening to the voice in the back of my head...I don't like what it says. x)

Not pathetic! Never pathetic! (: It's hard not to forgive somebody you care about...and it's obvious he still cares about you. Just sucks a bit, I guess.
