Klotho Peris
[/img]
16, Slytherin, 6th Year
Basics:
Full Name: Klotho Peris
Nickname(s):Clothes
DoB:May 12th
Sexuality:Bisexual
The Wizarding World:
Blood Status: Halfblood
Affiliated With:Death Eater
Wand:Her wand is unusual with its fairy hair core as it often makes magic temperamental. It is 11 inches, thin with an ornate handle and made from walnut.
Appearance:
Hair: Her dark, almost black hair just touches her shoulder, naturally falling in loose curls. Thick and wiry, her hair is almost impossible to tame.
Eyes: Klotho’s eyes are a muddy green, often looking brown in dark light. Her eyes are rather large although not overly spectacular.
Face: Her face forms the shape of a square, although is not at all sharp. Her features are soft and rounded, her nose straight but wide and her lips full.
Body:Even though only just reaching 5 foot nothing she is anything but petite. Her frame is solid and heavy with muscle and her shoulders broad. However she never felt the need to focus on building her strength or toning her body and so she maintains wide full hips, a fleshy stomach and a generous bosom. She weighs around 130lb.
Face Claim:Alison Busse, but with black curly hair
Other:Her skin is somewhat fair although she inherited her mother’s skin in the ability to go bronze in the sun rather than red like most people of her colour. Her complexion is oily and she does the absolute minimal required to maintain healthy skin.
Personality:
Klotho is first and foremost lazy, not bothered to get up and eat for an entire day unless food somehow finds its own way to where she is lying, usually in the form of an irritated classmate. She is fickle and reckless with what little energy she does manage to muster and mischief and chaos is often found in her wake. If you can tempt her with an adventure fun enough to get her off her butt you can be sure you’re in for a wild ride.
She often takes things too far, pushing boundaries past breaking and a lot of the time getting people hurt along the way. However she is not malicious in her intents and honestly just wants to have the most fun possible.
Of course, fun does not mean homework of any form whatsoever. She befriends and charms the teachers she can in order to squirm her way out of responsibilities and does the same to students where possible. She knows about power and she knows how to get it, singling out the weaker minded to manipulate and keeping close those of a similar strength of mind as her. She will also seek out the underdog, those that others overlook but have great potential, eventually being one of the only ones able to take advantage of their power.
Cynical and sceptical she is not easily swayed by anything but fact and reason, although has a weak spot for pretty and unusual things including pretty and unusual people. Klotho prides herself in being open minded, and will listen and eagerly participate in any heated discussion, so long as it’s one of the few subjects she cares about.
She is often criticised for her lack of moral boundaries, she is obsessed with the dark arts and controversy and often tries to coerce others into aiding her not so academic studies.

Family:
Mother:Kathrin Younger is a witch, she works as a freelance bounty hunter.
Father:Kratos Peris is a squib and so doesn’t work within the wizarding world, he is however a scholar and writes books on various subjects to do with mythology.
Siblings:None
Others (list): Eris Peris (grandmother)
History and Details:
Klotho grew up with a mother mostly absent, hunting escaped convicts and those with money on their head, however she looked up to her mother. There seemed to be something glamorous and thrilling about her occupation and this excited Klotho greatly, she hoped that one day she would live a life as adventurous as her mother’s.
Her father preferred the company of books than his child or any other person. Not to say he didn’t love Klotho, but he never had time for pointless conversation with anything that wasn’t somewhat on his level of intelligence. When he did spend time with her he was patient and gentle, but his anger easily flared with his mother who saw it as her duty to impress her ideas and opinions on his young child. Klotho on the other hand found these stories fascinating; she would sit there in awe as her grandmother told her about her ancestors and how she was the descendant of the great witches and wizards who the ancient Greeks wrote so fondly about.
Klotho, her name sake, was one of The Three Fates. She was the spinner and would spin the thread of life, deciding who was born and who never even made it that far. Her older sister, Lachesis, measured the thread of life for each person, deciding their destiny. Finally the eldest of the three, Atropos, would cut the thread, ending the life of those who shouldn’t be allowed to continue any further. These three sisters used ancient magic in order to ensure that the purebloods were the only ones allowed to practice magic, and that the muggles were controlled.
Eris assumed an expression of somebody who had just eaten rat excrement whenever Klotho’s mother was mentioned and spoke of her as a thing. In her opinion she was barely a person, let alone a witch. Klotho knew her mother to be a witch and a very good one at that regardless of her family’s blood status, she had seen her cast a great number of powerful spells, but always remained silent. Her grandmother was not a person to be argued with.
She was determined to show her grandmother that even though she might not be pureblood she was still a witch and she would be just as powerful as the original Klotho and her sisters. However she would spend the first six years of her life with no proof, desperately trying to make things move with her mind and set fire to leaves while exploring the manor grounds. Once she had discovered her well of magic she found it, like most other things, was much more fun to mess around and cause mayhem with.

Role-playing Sample:
She idly flicked through the pages of her Guide to Advanced Transfiguration but wasn’t taking any of the information in. Her heart was thumping uncomfortably, beating against her ribcage, and adrenaline coursed through her body. The complaints, insults and snide comments that were thrown at her for using the lumos spell in order to read died out as her dorm-mates fell asleep.
She huffed and closed her book, dropping it on the floor she slid out of bed and pulled her cloak around her shoulders. The common room was empty except for a fifth year who was fast asleep and drooling onto a pile of books; she quietly snuck past him and out through the hidden doorway.
Clothes was cautious not to be seen and so stuck to the shadows, skipping over creaking bits of floor and trick stairs. Only last week the caretaker had spotted her and threatened to drag her to her head of house by her hair, to which she responded that he’d have to catch her first and ran off down a corridor and through a tapestry that concealed a doorway.
This time however, she met nobody, not even one of the castle’s many ghosts.
She was only in her second year and felt confident in saying that she knew more about the school and all its hidden passages and secret rooms than the other students and probably most of the teachers. While others wasted their free time and nights doing things like making friends, studying and sleeping she explored every inch of Hogwarts.
Having nobody to disturb her she freely roamed the corridors through the night. Having double herbology first the next day she knew she could lie in and miss the dull and pointless lesson which professor Longbottom seemed determined to force onto his classes. She wouldn’t miss much.
