Lacey Janet Jones

Basics:
Full Name: Lacey Janet Jones
Nickname(s): Lace, LJ
DoB:October 5th
Sexuality: Bisexual
The Wizarding World:
Blood Status: Halfblood
Affiliated With:Neutral
Wand:10 and 3/4's, rosewood, unicorn mane
Pet: A white and grey mouse named Riff Raff
Appearance:
Her hair is a dark chocolate color, very similar to her mother's. She had it short for the beginning of her school years at Hogwarts, and got made fun of often for it. She's recently grown it out, and often has it in a messy sort of bun.
Her face is a bit heart shaped, with big brown eyes that she also inherited from her mother. She isn't sure about how her father looks, but she assumes she looks nothing like him. She has really light freckles on her nose, mostly from a childhood playing outdoors with her mother in their garden.
She's rather on the petite side, only reaching about 5'4". She doesn't mind being rather short though-- she's afraid that if she was tall, she would look to gangly and strange. She's a bit curvier than most girls her size, but she loves her curls, so she doesn't mind all that much.

Face Claim:Ellen Page
Personality:
Lacey is a rather friendly individual. She's the type of person who is genuinely nice, and seems to make friends rather easily and rather unintentionally. Therefore, she surprisingly has friends from nearly all the houses-- despite being a Ravenclaw herself. However, while she does make friends rather easily, it's difficult for her to make truly close friends-- she thinks herself very different from others, and therefore believes that most wouldn't want to get close to her.
She's a rather quirky, comparable to perhaps a slightly more normal Luna Lovegood. She is rather skilled at Herbology and Muggle Studies-- subjects that many people don't consider to useful. She can sometimes be a bit spacey, but this stems from her upbringing, where it was okay to be creative and use her imagination at all times.
Lacey is quite interested in the human body, both sexually and not. She inherited her mother's naive opinions on relationships and monogamy, and finds it hard once in a relationship to keep faithful. She speaks her mind when it's convenient for her, but would rather avoid conflict with people she loves.

Family:
First and Last Name, muggle or witch/wizard, occupation
Mother: McKenzie Elizabeth Jones, muggle, nurse
Father:Bradley Frank Robertson, Wizard, reporter for the Daily Prophet
Siblings:Edward Scott Stein, half-brother through mother's marriage, muggle, currently attends university
Others (list): Anyone with the name Stein, Robertson, or Jones
Lacey was born out of wedlock to McKenzie Jones-- a woman in her late twenties who still hadn't grasped the idea of monogamy when she met the rather dashing Bradley Robertson, a reporter for the Daily Prophet investigating a case of dragon pox that had broken out at a muggle hospital. What could best be described as a love affair ensued, and lasted about the six months it took for McKenzie to get pregnant.
Realizing that Brad wasn't looking for anything serious and instilled with a new sense of responsibility with a child on the way, McKenzie broke things off only a few months before Lacey's birth. Once Lacey was born, McKenzie moved to a smaller town and began working at a smaller hospital. Lacey and her mother had a very loving relationship-- they spent their time in the garden, and Lacey learned to love plant life. Her mother also taught her to be very nurturing, seeing as she was a nurse and all.
Lacey was raised as a muggle, seeing as Brad never told McKenzie about his wizarding blood. Therefore when Lacey received her Hogwarts letter, McKenzie had no idea how to react. She knew her daughter was special, and had always treated her as such, but this was going somewhat far. Her mother came to accept it, and Lacey adjusted rather well to Hogwarts. She was particularly good at Muggle Studies (having been raised as one) and Herbology.
