Owl: Blathers; The owl scholar a Short-Eared Owl, a bit on the fluffy side.
Dearest Jay,
I do hope you pardon my laziness by sending Blathers instead of myself, but I do have a pitiful excuse. Per usual, of course. Right now I have a free period, then Astronomy later on. The amount of time it'd take me to walk down from the seventh floor to the Ravenclaw tower, then try to begin to decipher that dreadful riddle would be too long. And as I write, my freedom is dwindling down to mere minutes before class. My evening is quite eventful as well, so I figured I would write so we wouldn't spend a day without talking.
Let's talk about last night I'd like to talk about last night, in person, tomorrow if your classes don't interfere. But the real reason of my owling was to divulge some information I overheard from my cousin.
James apparently doesn't remember anything from last night, nothing of the incredibly awkward situation we found ourselves in. But get this: you know how painfully obvious the sexual tension is between them? Well, he says that he only likes her as a friend. The kiss meant nothing. How horrible is that? Honestly, I think that's a load of pig swallow. James is also convinced that she likes you more than him, I suppose, in a romantic way. Completely mental, isn't he? And now you can't tell anyone, not Gia especially. I promised James that I wouldn't tell her, but nothing of the sort about you.
Well, that's all that I wanted to say for now. Stay out of trouble, huh?
Love,
Roxanne
