Sentences, no bullets
Hair: Dark brown, long down to her shoulders and mid back. Her hair is straight, although when the weather gets ugly it will gather some curls to it around the ends and become rather curly with some waves to it.
Eyes: Her eyes are light green, they will darken when she is angry, and will lighten when she is upset or close to tears.
Face: Aspen's face is slightly narrow, although with her hair parted more to the right so that it covers her right eye it looks less narrow then it really is. Her eyes fit well on her face. Her nose is a little narrow but it brings out her full lips.
Body, include weight and height: Aspen is 5'3. She weights about 100 to 105 pounds. Her skin is pale, although has a healthy tan glow to it when she allows her self to tan. Her legs are long, and her torso is a little shorter then most. Her arms are long, but not terribly so. Her fingers are long more like that of pianists’ fingers. She's thin, and a bit fragile looking. She has curves, and thankfully boobs.
Face Claim: Olivia Wilde
Other: Her ears are pierced, twice in the lobe on both ears and once in the cartilage on both of them. Her belly button is pierced as well.
Personality:
Aspen has always been shy, and quiet. She never got into trouble. Rarely does she ever even seem like she has no idea what she is doing, or hadn't meant for something to happen just as it did. She is a little shy around certain boys who actually have the courage to talk to her. Although not many people can crack her open and want to find out why she changed from being this nice, polite girl three years ago...to what she is now.
She is mean, sarcastic and isn't afraid to tell you what she thinks of you. She isn't easy to anger, although she will say some pretty mean things to you, just won't throw a punch and sock you in the face, which requires a little more effort. She acts like nothing affects her. Her attitude is that of she just doesn't care. She'd adapted this method of dealing with what people say about her, to the rumors. Under her tough exterior is a very loyal friend, who has some secrets that could possibly be used against others. She's really sensitive and she cares a lot about what people think of her. Although she doesn't show that it bothers her. She is very strong, stubborn young woman.
Aspen isn't always sarcastic. She has her moments where she can be very serious, and will figure out the best solution for a problem. She's nice, respectful, and loyal to her friends. To get her respect...well that isn't easy, although you'll know you have it, if she passes you in the hall and doesn't say anything rude or sarcastic to you. She might even be straight up with you and tell you, you have her respect, that doesn't mean she will automatically be your BFF for life although it should mean something. She isn't the easiest person to get close too. She sleeps around, with a lot of the student body, usually they are the older students, the one who take notice or watch their house mates. She wants something, information usually. Just what is she trying to find?
She has put up a wall around herself, so you can only get so close to her. Aspen puts up these walls not only for her own protection but for that of those important to her, if they know what she knows their life could be potentially in danger. The best way for her to keep people at a distance, is to distance herself from them. Aspen will try to make herself seem rude, mean and even violent to keep them from wanting anything to do with her. It'll take some time, and a heck of a lot of patience to get her to trust you, to the point of where she might tell you just what she is hiding, what she knows. She has more then one skeleton in her closet.

History and Details:
Jasmine and Edward Cross have two lovely children. Aidan is a year older then his sister Aspen. They are both very promising. They should be considering the level of respect and power their parents have. They both are strong in their own way. Adrian is more into studying then his sister is. Aspen is more of a hand on person, and would rather be having fun, or reading rather then studying. Jasmine isn't home very often working as Auror keepers her away from home sometimes for long periods of time, no longer then say a few weeks. Aspen and her brother as they grew up were raised either by their father and if we was at work half way around the world well, they had a nanny who would care for them, feed them, read stories help with homework that sort of thing.
Aspen used to be shy and quiet around the first five years at Hogwarts. It's still unclear what changed and made her suddenly decided to have to be known in Hogwarts. She surprised her parents, yet also disappointed them, as she started to get into trouble, breaking the rules, curfew, going to the restricted section in the library, even a few fights. Her style of clothes started to change as well; she started to stick out, getting this darker edge to her. Her parents chalked it up to being a rebellious teenager. They think her friends could possibly be the cause of this change in their daughter...although what do they know? They aren't home enough to keep an eye on her.
What changed her from being that quiet, smart young girl? It's a question that a lot of people want to know. She started getting involved with the wrong crowd. She as she got older didn't quite keep to herself, if someone talked to her, she'd talk to them no matter what house they were on. As she was walked down the stone corridor one night, she had run into a group of students, although they were supposed to be near the entrance of the Chamber of Secrets, heck neither was she. She'd been exploring and managed to get herself in some trouble. She hid in the shadows, her wand in her slightly shaking hand. She really wasn't looking for a fight. She managed to over hear a conversation about the story of the Death Eaters, and Harry Potter. This was old news everyone knew about that, so why was it different? She also heard a few names, and she was able to recognize a few students, each not all from the same house, but most were from her own house Slytherin. Some were older then her, others maybe a year younger or the same age. They seemed to be having a heated discussion about themselves, their parents and an old diary. These students seemed to have parents who were Death Eaters who followed Voldemort. She felt her lips pull down in a frown as she barely breathed, her heart pounding in her chest, as she felt as if the organ was lodged in her throat. She wasn't sure what all this meant but it wasn't good. They didn't seem friendly. It sounded as though they wanted to pick up where their families had left off, how they had been unsuccessful. They as a group of stronger, more united witches and wizards, they would succeed where their families had failed.
After that night, she knew some of them knew she was there, although they didn't say anything. She did her best to distance herself from them. She started to act out, drawing attention to herself, as the more attention she drew it meant that she wasn't just another face in the crowd, that people took notice of her, of who she was. The more she acted out, the less likely it was for someone to have a chance to talk to her, to confront her about what happened that night. The sleeping around hadn't been planned....although it worked out enough. This kept people from wanting much to do with her, the more distance they put between themselves and her she assumed it made them safer, safer from the Death Eaters that might what to silence her for what she did and didn't know.
Adrian likes to threaten to report her to their parents, although he won't. He is just worried about her, worried she isn't focusing enough on school, getting the grades. He's always been an O student nothing is hard for him. He's the perfect son anyone family would kill for. She knows this she's always known this. He is the apple of their parents’ eye, while she's the screw up. Don't get her wrong....she loves her brother, but it's frustrating he doesn't have to try hard at all and he can have their attention, their praise. They as siblings fight, but is never too bad, none of them every broke any bones.....well accept for that one time where she hadn't been looking where she'd been going, she wound up breaking her arm once.
Rumors are running around that someone is sleeping with the teachers, and a lot of the student body, but who can prove that? She started sleeping around a couple of months ago. Her family has no idea she's the one doing it. She wants information but for what and why is unknown. She is sleeping with certain students, or bulling those who might know something. Sleeping with those older students who have a tendency to talk in their sleep, or will answer her questions without much thought about why she wants to know. She isn't doing this for her grades. She doesn't need to sink to that level for her grades. Aspen is very smart, as long a subject interests her; it's easy for her to get passing grades, sometimes even better then just a passing grade. She doesn't have to try to be interested in something that she likes. Other classes those that are harder for her to understand, those that are harder for her to take an interest in, the grades are harder to get the passing grades. She's also got to watch her back and keep others away from her, if not for her own safety for theirs.

A young woman walked down the stone hallways, her black boots clicking on the stones. Her dark brown hair was tucked into a dark green and silver scarf. It signified that she was of the Slytherin house. Her things had already been sent ahead, already in her room. She carefully drew her hair from under the scarf and ran her long fingers carefully through the slightly tangled mess of locks. Her green eyes shifted around looking at the sea of students that walked with her. She was trying to keep an eye out for those few students who might try to talk with her, about what happened...several years ago. Their army was growing; at least that was what she'd been able to find out, from a few people. Students who started to drift from their houses, or their usual friends, they were even disappearing for a few hours at night...going who knows where in the school. It didn't seem like the Professors had any idea that had been going on. She didn't know what the teachers knew. She would have to find out, and her best bet for that just might be the new teacher whom was scheduled to come later this month. The rumors were he was young and single, although rumors were rumors; it wasn't like they were right. Whispers started flying through the sea of bodies to the waiting ears of younger students, almost as if to prove her point. Several students suddenly started to whisper in front of her saying things, which of course were wrong, although students believed everything they heard. It made for great drama in these stone walls.
A few whispers of 'Is that Aspen Cross?', 'She's a bitch watch out', 'she’ll steal your boyfriend' ‘rumor has it she's sleeping with one of the teachers' 'her families totally loaded'. The list went on, but those were the ones that stood out, for everything that was true, several of those were lies, or twisted truths. Several of the students walked closest to her, gave a few steps out of her way. The girls gave her looks of hatred. This wasn't the first time; she had become used to this. Although several months ago, when those looks had started, she'd been surprised, even hurt. It was when she first began to become alienated from her peers. She just had to keep reminding herself daily that this was for their benefit, for their safety. An incredibly ridiculous rumor reached her ears and she laughed to herself, she couldn't help it.
Aspen couldn't help but smirk. This was always fun to listen to the rumors fly through the student body. It was highly unlikely that you didn't at least know about her. She was almost right up there with the Weasley, Potter, and Malfoy children. Being part of the 'horrid, evil' Slytherin House, it made people fear perhaps not you, but others in your House. Not everyone in Slytherin was blood thirsty, but their house reputation was already set a flame way before she'd started coming here. Why not give them someone to be afraid of? Her fingers ran through her hair as she walked into the dinning room, heading for Slytherin's table. A few older students looked her way; some even had the guts to wave a little. The looks varied from lustful, to mesmerized, to hateful, only a few were friendly....damn few to be honest.
She took a seat in a group not many people associated with, she didn't even associate with them, although it was either sit with this group or continue the motions, and she was tired of doing the motions. She knew no one in the group so far had come to into the clutches of the Death Eaters, but it'd been two months at least during the summer. She could be wrong. Her green eyes danced around the room, sliding around to several of her house mates, she found herself watching some of them a hint of fear in gaze. She caught the eye of a few teachers, although made no motion that she saw them at all, other then a very slight smile. She knew better then that, it would give fuel to the fire, of those rumors, that were false, but why cause problems for her Professors? That wasn’t something she wanted to do. 'This year is getting harder...not many people have any idea about what I need to know. If they do they aren't going to give it so easily' she thought her eyes flashing with an unreadable emotion as she dropped her gaze to the table, allowing her mind to wonder. She had a bad feeling this year wasn't going to be like the last few...it felt very ominous. She blinked forcing the emotions back, and pulling out her wand from her sleeve. She twirled the black wand between her fingers a small smirk on her lips as she conversed with her fellow house mates, forcing herself into their conversation whether they wanted her in it or not.
Aspen felt her lips pull downward in a frown, her eyes landing on one boy a younger one a fifth year from the look of him. He was going to trip a taller boy, she recognized the boy as Aisu Oki, the blind wizard. She felt compelled to do something to draw attention toward the boy. "Hey Trojan picking on disabled kids are you now? Even I don't sink that low!" she called out loudly her green eyes a blaze with malice. That little kid was always picking on the kids whom really couldn't do much for themselves. She at least stuck to people who could keep up if she insulted them. She called the boy by his last name he was about 14 or so years old.

How long have your been role-playing? It's been a couple of years on and off since 12-13. I just got back fully about a year ago. This is my first Harry Potter Role-play. I do more of an X-Men role-play.
