Your professor is Professor Malcolm Maddox.
Your class? Transfiguration.
ENJOY!
(Do not begin 'lessons' until all students have arrived...or you're sure that someone has decided to be late.)

The blind wizard didn't even bother going to the Great Hall, there was no need to go there, and being surrounded by people and all that mindless stupid chatter, about the night before, about the party that half the school was invited to. Frankly he just wanted forget about that stupid party, he wanted to forget all the stupid worthless excuses Allen had used to take blame on his actions, he was fed up with and wanted to forget all the apologies, he wanted to forget the horrible pain he was in when tripped and fell down several flights of stairs and had to spend the night in the hospital wing on the first night back, and he just wanted to forget the nights experiences. He also wanted to forget the confrontation that had went badly. Right now his morning was blowing up in his face. His emotions were strongly tied to his magic, and that just made things all the more harder for him, which is why he tried to keep himself calm and composed in every given situation, life seemed to threw at him.
Aisu had decided to go to his first class, maybe blow off some steam in transfiguration, if he was lucky. Which he doubted. As he walked through the seemingly empty halls, and up the shifting staircases, and finally made it to the first floor. He found the Transfiguration class, and walked in. He took his time walking over to the rows of seats and sat down in his seat. He didn't even notice Professor Maddox, or even if his teacher was in the room with him. If he was, Aisu didn't even notice, too caught up in trying to sort out his own emotions or at least supress them enough. Setting his arms down, his hands disappearing into the folds of his robes, to hide the bruised limbs, hiding his hands was so much easier than hiding his still bare and bruised feet, which made him wonder if anyone would bother asking how he got injured, although it wasn't unusual for him to trip and fall on occasion and for when things were in his way or magically moved in his way, or for him to trip and fall down a flight of stairs every now and then.
Aisu hadn't really managed to do anything about his emotions which were still under lock and key, and his control was still slipping through his fingers like sand. Maybe he should of skipped? Too bad he couldn't turn back time, because now he was stuck in class now. He just hoped they wouldn't be doing anything too stressful? And he also hoped he wouldn't have to deal with angry people who were mad at him for what he did to Allen... and he was really wondering what kind of rumors Briony would spread, which would be floating around the student body and soon get back to him by god-knows-when. He really tried not to think about that, as it would only make things worse for him... and Allen.... Why couldn't people leave them alone? They could deal with this on their own, they didn't need outside forces and people interfering and making things all the more complicated in their currently already rocky friendship. When things like this happened, it was best for everyone if they just butt out and let Aisu and Allen fix things and mend their broken friendship on their own. Too bad people never did butt out and let them deal with this on their own. All they were doing was causing more problems, then fixing and helping Aisu and Allen with their friendship. They were all just making it worse, and no one seemed to learn that. And if someone did confront him on what he did to Allen, couches weren't the only things that were going to get blown up this morning! Aisu would make sure of that.
Aisu groaned softly and rested his head on his folded arms, he was exhausted, tired and more than a little irritable.

Dominique smiled widely as she left the Great Hall a bit in advance to the couple she had been talking to. She imagined since Allen wouldn't be joining them in Transfig there'd be at least some kissing involved in the goodbyes, and they needed some alone time anyway. She had left with a small wave, a wink and a huge smirk.
She had half skipped up the stairs to the classroom where her favorite class was held at. Spending breakfast with her friends, no matter how awkward it had been earlier, always brightened her up a lot. She greeted a few people along the halls, all heading to their different classes now.
Dominique would have to wait to even talk to Lacey, but that was alright, it's not as if she was gonna be swept over in a day anyway. Dominique vaguely imagined a Prince version of herself picking up Lacey and carrying her off to the lake and laughed a lot as she walked. She thought for a few moments she should so try that out with Rose soon, it'd be a great laugh.
She reached the classroom and entered, the door busting open and banging the wall slightly. The redhead smiled brightly at the classroom, which was mostly empty, except for a certain blind wizard. "Top o' the morning, Aisu!" she said, taking a seat next to him. She imagined he'd still be mad about the whole Allen deal, but she hoped she could brighten him up slightly... "I stay or should I go and sit up front for today?" she asked, not wanting to irritate her friend further.

The blind wizard had ended up falling asleep a few minutes after he had arrived in the classroom. However as the minutes ticked by, he ended up being half alseep and half awake.
Aisu jolted out his half-sleep as the door was barged into, and smacked the wall, sure to those with sight it wouldn't have been so bad, but to him, it had been ten times worse. Snapping his head up and his foggy pupils moving around wildly in his eye sockets. He hated being startled, it not only frightened him, but it also made him lose control on his foggy pupil's movements, so that they didn't move around when he wasn't focusing on something. Also he ended up yanking his bruised hands out of his robes, his hands curled into white-knuckled fists, from the fright and he also ended up banging his knees on the desk, when he was jolted out of his half-asleep state, causing the Japanese wizard to start swearing in Japanese, giving off one of the many tall-tale signs that he was in one hell of a bad mood.
Aisu was quick to pinpoint the voice that spoke. "Must you do that, when you enter a classroom?" He couldn't help snarling out through his gritted teeth. He didn't want to take his anger out on Dom, she didn't deserve it, but she had caused his mood to go south instead of north. His pupils were still moving around rapidly, and he closed his eyes, to try and gain some control over the moving pupils, so when he looked at Dom he didn't freak her out because of it.
The blind wizard dropped his head in his hands, and rubbed at his temples, he already had a killer headache, from being awoken in such a loud way. Aisu ignored his stinging knees, and focused on trying to get his headache to go away. His eyes were still closed. Aisu couldn't help wishing he had skipped class. Aisu sighed, and took a deep breath, trying to calm himself down enough to answer Dom. "Sure it's a great morning, if you don't count all the shit that happened back in the Hufflepuff common room." He said grumpily.
His mood hadn't lifted at all, but he at least had some control to not take out his feelings, emotions and utter turmoil of confusion on Dominique. "Do what you want Dom. I'm not god." He said, trying his hand at a small dry-humored joke, and failed. Not that he was expecting himself to be able to do a joke. "So do you even know what happened? At the party? Or the Hufflepuff Common room confrontation." He couldn't help questioning, wondering just what Allen had told Briony, and wondering if Allen had told anyone else what had happened between them this morning. And he was curious to know how much she knew, so he could go and take his frustrations out one someone who honestly deserved them. Also he really didn't want to deal with Allen, and he really hoped the other skipped this class, also he didn't want to deal with an angry Rose for harming and nearly blowing up her precious boyfriend. OK he was exaggerating on the nearly blowing up part, but he had wanted to blow up Allen, and he still honestly wanted to.
(I'll probably end up fixing this post up a bit tomorrow.)

Dominique shrugged a little after she sat down, but explained seeing as the boy next to her couldn't see her. "I'm excited about transfiguration, y'know. Plus, I usually make a nice impact with that... you're the only one here, though." she said, chuckling a bit. Her brown eyes drifted around the room while Aisu's head was down. It hadn't changed much at all in the 5 years she'd been here, but she still loved it very much. It was ample, too, which made her quite glad.
The redhead noticed her friend was in a bad mood and she wasn't making things better, but she figured she'd stay unless he lashed out at her. She wouldn't take it personally anyway. "Chill it man, I'm just asking if you mind the company." she said. One of her hands went up to her hair, shuffling it a bit, a habit she had taken too after a while.
His next question made her sigh a little. It wasn't a good conversation starter, because of his mood... but sure, she'd answer in all honesty, as always. "I know you punched him because he kissed you, I saw that. And he didn't seem too harmed when he finally reached the Great Hall." she said, her voice completely nonchalant. It wasn't that big of a deal, and Dom didn't care about rumors anyway.

Aisu chuckled at her reasoning for barging into the room. "I must agree with you there, it is fun to hear those racing hearts." He said in agreement, his mood becoming slightly better and he was beginning to calm down.
Aisu didn’t answer to what she said next, as there was really no reason for him to respond to it. The blind wizard lifted his head and ran a hand through his hair, pulling the long ponytail over his right shoulder and playing with it in between his fingers. A habit he had did when he didn’t trust himself to spin his wand around in his fingers, as his emotions could flare up and something could explode without him meaning it to happen.
The blind wizard blinked, before he decided to stare blankly ahead of him, as he listened to what Dom had said. He narrowed his eyes slightly, having gotten control over the rapidly moving pupils. “You can’t tell me, he didn’t deserve it.” He responded calmly. Aisu chuckled coldly. “Looks like he took my advice then, and went to the hospital wing, and I hope Briony did as well…” He said shrugging his shoulders. Clearly he didn’t feel too bad about what he had done. After all Allen deserved it.

Walking through the hallways, Rose felt herself almost bouncing with enthusiasm, excited to attend her first class of the year. She'd missed the feeling that accompanied her classes, the feeling that she was special and important, that she was part of something that so many others would never even know about. True, she wished that Allen was with her, and that sombered her mood slightly. It was only their first real day of dating, true, but after the awkward mess that was breakfast, she was beginning to feel bad omens. But they, too, were unimportant--they would be expelled in time, as she'd waited so long to achieve what she had, and it wasn't as exciting now that she had it.
Speaking of which, she needed to find Soph and tell him about her and Allen, although Soph had probably already heard. It seemed like a bad idea not to make him swear to secrecy about everything--although nobody would be shocked if they found out what had happened between them, it would surely not improve things. Either way, it would be nice to see him, but unluckily enough, she was sharing her first period with the Hufflepuffs, which, she realized with a smile, was probably not making Dom too happy either.
Walking into the room, she felt her stomach lurch slightly as she saw Dom and Aisu huddled together talking. She had no idea if Aisu knew--but if he did, he wasn't going to be happy, and either way, he didn't seem to be in the best of moods. Walking up to them slowly, she smiled brightly, "Hey guys!" The words came out quickly and easily, although she definitely heard a slight nervous quiver in them. Aisu surely was going to whine about Allen, and she wanted to help them reconcile, but suddenly, she felt as if she was walking more on eggshells than anything else.

Dom beamed up at the door, knowing her entrances did make a bit of an impact. She shuffled a bit in her seat before looking back at her blind friend. "I know, the faces are fun too, but you get to actually hear it... that's awesome." she said. Her face turned towards the door as Rose entered the classroom, looking slightly put off.
The redhead answered quickly to Aisu's statement. "Of course he did, but you'll figure it out, I'm sure." Rose had reached them as she said the last word, so Dominique beamed up at her. "Hey lovely, ready for Transfig? I can't wait until Maddox gets here!" she said, winking up at her cousin.
Dominique could feel and interpret corr the slightly tense and nervous tone to Rose's voice. Aisu's presence and eminent conversation with her would revolve around Allen, probably... and it must be about as awkward as it could get. Still, Dom was curious about the workings of the new couple, so she asked her question. "So, did the ceiling-high in-law just left or is he still shy? Or did you abandon him on the Great Hall before he could offer to walk you here, you mean, mean woman?" she asked, adding the last part joking, though it was possible.

Aisu didn’t need sight to hear his sighted friend was shuffling in her seat. He could hear her just fine from how close she was to him. He grinned at what she said. “Yes you do make an impact when you come in, like you did moments ago.” He responded. He turned his head to look at her. "And Thanks for the compliment." He said. “I will admit, hearing their hearts beating so fast, is one of the many ways I know how and what someone is feeling.” He said not bothering to nod his head. There was little reason for him to act like a normal person, when he was with Dominique.
The blind wizard didn’t even need his enhanced hearing to hear Rose walk into the room. However with his superior hearing he was able to hear her heart beating, and how there was a nervous tone in her voice, and he fought off his all-knowing smirk. Knowing just about everything about one’s inner feelings was one of the greatest advantages he had at his disposal, and he’d be an idiot not to use them. Aisu shrugged his shoulders at Dom’s last words before he felt Rose’s presence near him and Dominique. Which had caused him to stop playing with his long ponytail, letting his long hair fall over his right shoulder.
Aisu didn’t even bother turning his head. “Hello, Rose.” He said. He paused to listen to what Dom had said. Aisu grumbled. “Finally!” in Japanese, before the white haired youth, barked out a laugh. “About damned time you two finally get together!” He commented seriously.

Grabbing a seat next to Dom, she beamed, chuckling slightly at her cousin's comment. "Mmmmm, Maddox," she teased, before adding, "I'm always ready, gorgeous." Her cousin had an amazing habit of making her feel constantly more confident, being around her tended to lighten her spirits intensely. There was probably no reason to really be nervous, after all, she'd had absolutely no role in what occurred the night before, she was simply a supporting actress in a role that she was trying to fit into.
And speaking of fitting in, there was another Allen comment. Had it always been like this with the others? Had she never cared, or was it that they had skipped the interrogation? Another possibility, of course, was that it was getting to her, for once, but she had absolutely no idea why. The first answer was that she really liked him, so much that it was slightly terrifying. The other alternative, of course, was that she wasn't ready for this, or that they'd been tripped up by fate. "Um...I'm not sure actually. I guess I abandoned him? I was going to be late...and it didn't really seem like he was going to offer...so I just made a run for it." Should she have waited for him to offer? That wasn't really how Rose worked...although it seemed like it was probably a smarter idea.
Aisu had heard her coming, of course, and as he was Aisu, he had probably realized that she was slightly nervous. It was interesting that he didn't even turn to look at her--but of course, that just put her into a further reverie. Was he mad? Shocked? Disappointed? She kept her ubiquitous small smile plastered onto her face as she responded, "Hi Aisu." But before she had a chance to continue, he was grumbling in Japanese, and then saying a comment that sent her into a further tailspin. About time? How long had everyone known? Had they been taking bets? "Oh, yeah, it seriously is." She responded, trying to figure out why this was so confusing. She'd wanted to be with him for eons, but now that she was, everything seemed even more complicated.

"It's quite amazing how you do that, you know. I like that about you a lot, though others might find it quite annoying." she said, sincerely saying what she thought. As Rose took the seat next to her she figured things would be relatively alright today. She smiled widely at the teasing comment from her cousin. "Mmm, can't wait to see him again. He's my favorite teacher, you know?" she added, raising her eyebrows slightly. Dominique loved to joke around her supposed infatuation with their transfiguration teacher. "He's got quite the body, y'know?" she said bitng her lip, but a moment later she could no longer keep her laughter from bursting out.
She listened carefully to her cousin's words, frowning a little as Rose actually confessed that she'd left Allen in the Great Hall and ran off. "Rosie! I thought you guys would be all kissy-like right outside the classroom at the very least! You know he's shy... perhaps you should've waited." she said, pushing Rose's shoulder a bit with her hand, in a joking way. "You are mean to the poor giant twig." she said, laughter in her voice once more.
Aisu's outburst at Rose was unexpected, but she had to agree. Rose's surprise at it seemed a bit off, considering Aisu was Allen's best friend... of course he knew all about it. And it was really kind of obvious anyway. "Psh... no kidding. How many years has it been, really?" In a way, Dominique thought, it was Aisu's way of congratulating them for getting together. Her ever present smile remained on her lips, hoping to soothe both of her friends' some more, though Aisu was already visibly calming down.

Maddox strolled in a bit late, but was happy to see the classroom predominantely filled. He hated waiting around for late students, but for the most part it seemed like they were all here. Being a professor, he should really be the first one to his class, but he had been preparing for the day's lessons, so he didn't feel so terrible. He strolled leisurely to his desk, calling for the class's attention as he did so. "All right, ladies and gentlemen, let's take our seats, shall we?" He said loudly, ushering two girls in the front of the room who had been gossiping with some others to seat available at another table.
He was quite aware that his class was often used for gossip when they should be attempting to transfigure their lesson for the day, but he had done that too when he was a student. So long as they attempted the goal of the day, he didn't mind so much. He was particulrly excited about the day's lesson, mostly because he was excited to get rid of the damn cockatoos. Pulling out his wand, he conjured a cockatoo along with it's cage onto his desk with a crack, figuring he would get the rest of the classes attention with that.
"Today we're going to be working on some animate to inanimate transfiguration." he said, gesturing to the bird in front of him. "More specifically, cockatoos to masquarade masks." he smiled, waving his wand and transforming the bird into a feathered mask. Raising it to his face he smiled, laughing a bit, "Festive, I know. Feel free to have fun with this one, and welcome to the new year." he said, tossing the mask on to his desk and starting to move across the aisles of student's desks.
At each table he waved his wand, a bird cage and bird appearing in front of the student. He smiled politely as he passed Rose, Dom and Aisu's table, waving his wand so that a cockatoo appeared in front of each of them. "Welcome back you three." he said with a smile. "Enjoy, and if you have any questions feel free to ask." he said before moving on to the next table. It was a shame that most students didn't ask questions in his class, especially since Transfiguration was such a difficult subject.
He reached the front of the class, then gestured for them all to start. Then he sat back down in his chair and leaned back, smiling gently as he watched his students begin.

Aisu couldn’t help smirking at the compliment. “Thanks. However I think they find it more creepy and frightening than annoying, as I’m always right.” Aisu commented, confidently. The white-haired youth looked over at Rose, having the uncanny ability to find one’s eyes rather easily. “Hello to you as well, Rose…” He responded.
Aisu however didn’t bother commenting on anything more that the two girls had said about their teacher, Mr. Maddox. After all, how could he comment on something he couldn’t see? How did he know what Mr. Maddox looked like, when he didn’t even know what he, himself looked like? So there was no point in getting involved in their little jokes and jabs and teasing.
The blind wizard frowned. Their words… No it was only Dominique’s words that had disturbed him and made a shiver run down his spine. The only thing that made him shudder was the word Kissy… just one letter longer than kiss. And he really beginning to hate that word, after all with that one word, it made the memories of last night run rapid in his mind. Aisu lifted up his hand to rub his lips again, a small growl escaped his throat at the thoughts that ran through his mind. He wanted to find Allen and punch him again.
The Hufflepuff stared at Rose a bit harshly. “Hello. I’m your boyfriend’s best friend? Why wouldn’t I know that he likes you?” He commented his tone slightly colder than he had meant it to be. “And you Rose…. Well your emotions just screamed you liked him.” He said not being able to keep his all-knowing smirk off his face this time. “I’m surprised it took you both this long to admit it.” He said as he sighed softly to himself. “Dom, we should of taken bets on this one.” He said seriously.
The perfect had quieted down once he heard Professor Maddox stroll right in. Then again, it wasn’t hard for him to figure out that his professor had walked in, as the man’s footsteps were rather loud. He was pretty sure he was one of the first people to notice, with his enhanced hearing and all that, he was far better than most of the seers who were all currently gossiping and not paying any attention whatsoever. He listened to what his Professor said, and than he blinked and turned his head to the front, after hearing a cockatoo squawk, as it was turned into a mask, by his Transfiguration’s professor. He also bit back a winch as he heard the feathered mask tossed onto the professor desk, so carelessly.
Aisu’s eyebrow twitched in annoyance, when his professor said the mask was festive. How was he supposed to tell if something was festive or not? He couldn’t see it! He grunted softly in annoyance at his Professor’s remark. He didn’t bother turning his head to his professor, as he heard a cockatoo being magically placed in front of him, Rose and Dominique. However he did answer his professor. “Same to you, Professor.” He said calmly.
Aisu smirked at the questions comment, as he got out his wand, and held it in his left hand, while he raised his right hand. “Excuse me Professor Maddox. But after I turn the cockatoo into a mask, may I turn it back into a bird?” He asked politely. Aisu wisely, calmly and in complete control, ignored the whispers of his fellow housemates and those who were in Gryffindor, as they whispered to one another, whispering like he couldn’t hear them at all. They were sorely mistaken, as he could hear them and their comments easily, although he had to strain his ears to do so. He ignored the whispers of ‘why would he bother changing it back into a bird?’ and ‘What a stupid question’ and ‘he blind, he wouldn’t be able to see the mask anyway.’ and the harsher ones of, ‘why is he even here?’. However Aisu remained completely calm and collected, unlike many who would probably snap or crack under the pressure. Aisu simply waited for his professor’s response, as it was the only one he cared about, those other questions askers, could freeze in the harsh icy-cold winds of Antarctica’s coldest and harshest winters for all he cared.

Professor Maddox entered the classroom as Dom was talking about him, making her beam at him before winking at Rose. She remained silent through the explanation that Maddox gave, smiling as she had already done animate to inanimate transfiguration before, though on a smaller scale. "This should be fun," she commented as the professor started handing out their cockatoos.
Aisu seemed a bit on edge the moment she'd talked about kisses, and she noticed it just as much as he would've. Well, Allen was certainly not forgiven, then. Though there seemed to be something else in there, but she wouldn't dare to ask, not yet. The whole thing was too recent, so she'd leave it alone for now. "Rosie, you should really pay attention to who you're talking to. It's all mighty Aisu here, and he is after all your boyfriend's best friend." she said, adding the title on the blind boy's name as a reference to his keen senses picking up everything.
As Maddox approached their table, Dominique smiled, but Aisu was quicker to speak than she was. His question startled her slightly, but she liked the idea. "We so should, Aisu." she commented, already picturing what the mask would look like. She loved venetian masks, so she'd go for one of those instead. "How was your summer, Prof?" she asked, her flirty ways toned down a lot more as she was talking to the professor, though a wink was directed Rose's way, whom no doubt would be laughing with her later about it.

It was vaguely eerie to have Aisu looking straight at her, although she had come to expect it in time. However, his tone with her was wearing extremely thin. Why was Aisu being so ridiculously cranky with her? Luckily, Maddox walked into the room, giving her time to think. It was strange to her that Aisu was being so mean--although she could have been overreacting, but still, if he was mad at Allen, why take that out on her? Did he think that she was going to screw Allen over? True, she didn't have the most fabulous track record, but she did have good track records with the people she actually cared about, and Allen was certainly included amongst that number.
"I know you're his best friend, Aisu." She responded, and it was obvious to her that her usual cheer was gone entirely from her voice as her eyes met his smirk. Honestly, this was so depressing, and Dom wasn't making her feel much better. "Was I...too harsh? I mean, he didn't offer to walk me....and I'm so sick of Detention...I didn't want to imply." She sounded like she was lying, she realized, and winced. She was being entirely honest, but she felt lost in the classroom, as if she was completely intruding on something. Now she was just feeling worse, and the smile dropped entirely from her face, clearly the only talent she had was being a bad girlfriend and a general bitch. She was being consumed entirely by guilt, and mumbled out a small apology, without really directing it towards anyone.
Maddox came over to them, and she let both Aisu and Dom greet him before her. When they had finished, she mumbled a, "Thanks," while taking the bird from his grip. She watched Dom fake-flirting with the Professor, which caused a smile to appear briefly on her face, but instead, she sobered up, focusing on the innocent bird on her arm. Tapping it lightly with her wand, she watched with glee as it turned into a pale blue masquerade mask--a feat that she was extremely proud of. Transfiguration was by far her favorite subject, the only one that she went out of her way to do her best in, and it was nice to see the results of her work.

Maddox had turned to focus in on his desk, scribbling out lesson plans for the rest of the week when he heard a voice raise a question from the group of students. He glanced up, raising a brow and focusing on the hand that was raised. "Ah, Mr. Oki." When he asked his question, Maddox pursed his lips, in sort of a quizzical frown. He shrugged his shoulders, standing up and glaring at a few students who were muttering darkly before he continued to answer the question. "If you'd like to Mr. Oki, go right ahead. I was planning on doing at the end of class anyway, but if you'd like to save me the trouble, just make sure to show me the mask before you change it back."
He filed through the rows of students now, examining their attempts. A few only succeeded in beaked masks that squawked loudly as he passed. He made a few comments, correcting spell casting posture and suggesting different visuals for various students to use. He noted that very few had successfully done anything substantial at the moment, until he passed again by Rose, Dom and Aisu's desk.
Smiling encouragingly, he picked up Rose's transfigured mask, examining it closely. "Very nice, Miss Weasley." he said, glancing down at the girl and nodding. "Excellent shape, even changed the colors of the feathers. Very nice work." He glanced at the other two, remembering Dom's a bit too friendly smile. "Better get cracking you two. This is what your first paper is on, just a head's up." he said, returning back to his desk.
He felt like Aisu always seemed slightly aggravated, at least whenever Maddox saw him. Certain things just seemed to piss him off, like he noticed his 'festive' comment had made him look uncomfortable. But Maddox was against giving what he considered so called 'special treatment', or what he considered such. Anyone would call a masquerade mask 'festive', whether they saw it or not, such was practicalness. He sighed, raising his feet to his desk. Already starting out the year bad with one student. Fantastic. Whatever, Maddox thought, letting out a sigh. He could amuse himself turning into his animagus form for the first years later on in the day. That always cheered him up.

Aisu really wasn’t trying to take his bad mood out on Rose. It was just getting horribly hard for him to control his emotions which were confusing him even more than he usually let them. His mood had been somewhat fine and lighter till Dominique just had to bring up the whole kissy-in-the-doorway thing. EW even that thought sounded wrong in his head. He shook his head and ran hand through the ponytail of his hair.
After hearing Rose’s mumbled apology, and feeling what she was feeling. One of the times he really cursed his blindness, because of his stupid sixth sense. He decided to try and apologize. Key word being tries, because he wasn’t very good with apologies, but at least he had the guts to try. “I’m the one who should be apologizing…. I mean…. Err… I shouldn’t be taking my bad mood out on you… So… I’m sorry…. I’m just irritated about what happened with my confrontation with Allen this morning.” Aisu said quietly, not wanting anyone but Rose and maybe Dom to hear what he was saying, as because it wasn’t every day, that Aisu Oki, willingly apologized to anyone.
The blind wizard smiled; as he heard the whispers stop completely. “Thanks, Professor Maddox.” He said, as he dropped his hand, and the thanks weren’t just because the professor had answered his question. “What’s a masquerade mask, suppose to look like?” He couldn’t help asking, softly toward Dominique and Rose. Hoping they’d give him at something to go on, as he had no idea what a masquerade mask was suppose to look like, as he wouldn’t be able to see it anyway, nor was he very good with things that gave him very little detail to nothing to go on. So the detail of things, was very important to him, so he knew what to go off of, at least when things revolved around, color, shape, and all that other artsy stuff that had to do with detail, of something he had never seen but only felt before.
Aisu really didn’t consider him to be a ‘bad’ student…. He just had a bit of trouble… It really wasn’t that big of a surprise seeing as he was the only blind student studying at Hogwarts, but at least he wasn’t completely useless or a dangerous and disastrous hazard to those around him.

Gia wasn't in the greatest mood, which was quite odd, especially for someone like her. But looking back, she hadn't had the greatest start to the year. The train ride was fine, and so was everything else until the kiss with James. That was when everything started going downhill, mainly just because of the awkwardness. Things got much better that morning when Gia and James had talked, but now she felt that things still weren't quite back as they used to be. James seemed a little bit off at breakfast, and Gia felt the same way. She thought it might be because of the conversation she'd had with Roxanne; it was one that was necessary and sort of just had to happen, but it probably wasn't the smartest thing to do when she was sitting right next to James. Gia didn't want to make a big deal about all this, but talking about it openly with Roxanne probably made it a bit awkward for James. And on top of that, Gia realized that she had only told James the very basics of the story, but the whole thing. She had left him hanging, and now he was probably wondering what the fuss with Roxanne and Jay was about.
It was understandable that Gia was distracted during the first few minutes of Transfiguration. She stepped into the class a little bit later than most of her friends, but she wasn't technically late. Rose, Dom, and Aisu were in their own little conversation, one that Gia didn't really feel like joining at the moment. As much as she loved them, she wasn't really in the mood to talk just then. She had a lot on her mind, and the fact that they were in Transfiguration, her least favorite (and definitely worst) class, didn't help.
Apparently, they were to be changing a cockatoo into a mask. Gia had trouble wrapping her brain around this kind of stuff, which was why she wasn't great at transfiguration. She couldn't understand why someone would want to change a cockatoo into a mask. What was wrong with just leaving it as a cockatoo? It was a cockatoo, not a mask...so how was it supposed to change into a mask? She looked miserably down at her cockatoo and tried to transfigure it. The first few tries didn't go very well at all, but she eventually succeeded in turning her cockatoo into something that was somewhat mask-like; it was shaped like a mask, but it was squawking and feathered. She wished she could've been able to concentrate more, but her hangover wouldn't go away and she was having trouble focusing with all the thoughts running around her head.

Dominique looked at Rose slightly worried that she'd only done harm with her comments. "Oh, I mean... I'm sure he didn't take it personally, y'know. You were going to be late for class after all." She could hear the worried tone in Rose's voice, and knew instantly it wasn't a lie, though others wouldn't agree. "You can meet up with him later and talk, or something, it's not like you're saying goodbye forever, right?" she added, joking a bit in hopes of lightening Rose's mood.
Then Aisu was also apologizing to Rose, which wasn't a common thing for the blind wizard to do. Dom was slightly taken back by it, but she ended up smiling a little, seeing that Aisu was playing around with his ponytail while he did so. "Well... they should cover at least half of your face, to avoid your identity being revealed, and they usually have plain facial features, but are wildly decorated with bright colors, feathers and shiny things." she said, trying to answer Aisu's question as fully as she could. Dom noticed Gia on another table looking put off, and she sighed. This morning everyone seemed upset about something.
"Will do, Prof." she said with a small mock salute, and she started picturing the mask she wanted in her mind. She tapped her wand at the cockatoo and smiled as it turned into a traditional jester venetian mask, in red white and gold, all feathers transfigured into soft fabrics and shinny ornaments. Dominique smiled widely at her work, then looking at Rose's light blue mask. She placed her mask in front of her face and made a mock-male voice, almost laughing at herself as she did so. "Oh, milady, you look stunning tonight. May I escort you this fine evening?" She said, a soft chuckle escaping her mouth as she spoke.

At Maddox's compliment, she cracked a smile. It felt ridiculously good to hear some praise, especially from him. He was one of the only teachers in the school who didn't seem to view her as another Weasley, which she found generally quite invigorating. Before she could really respond, he had walked over to another group, and her attention was diverted as Gia walked in. She expected her best friend to come straight over to them, but instead, she walked right past them, as if they weren't even there, which certainly stung.
Hearing Aisu's attempt at an apology, she smiled, as she really was terrible at being mad or upset for long periods...or short periods...of time. "It's totally fine, I was probably overreacting. Um, I know Allen really does want to have a conversation with you about that...maybe a non-violent one." She didn't feel as if it was her place to advocate for her boyfriend, as she was just happy that Aisu wasn't genuinely mad at her. "A masquerade mask...it's shaped to fit over your eyes, usually with a bright and intricate design." She had no idea if that would be helpful, but hoped that it would.
"I definitely hope he didn't take it personally....and yeah, I'll definitely find him after class," she said. As her friend transfigured her bird, Rose grinned, impressed by Dom's creativity. "Well, dahling, you do make the most gorrrrrrgeous masks!" Putting her own mask in front of her face, she giggled before adding, "The pleasure is mine, my liege."
ooc; This is so terrible. Sorry guys, intense writer's block.
