Personality:
Layla was diagnosed with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder. Her mind often focuses on too many things at once, rather than not focusing at all, as people believe. She gets distracted by small things a lot, often missing the big picture, but if you take enough time to talk to her thoroughly, you’d realize she’s onto things you had never noticed before.
Though her grades often don’t show it, she’s very bright and understands things well, though she tends to focus on small details. She has very interesting points of view in some respects, as her condition lets her see some things differently than most.
Layla is one to see often smiling or laughing, finding amusement in the smallest and most random things in life, her love for sweet food only further extending her hyperactive behavior. She's actually kind of known for her silly expression and the fact that she says wow a lot. She finds it particularly hard to sit still throughout an entire lesson, causing her to aggravate teachers highly when she takes off from her seat to walk or constantly asks permissions to get out of the classroom.
Layla is very easily hurt by criticism, often hiding in her room if someone has teased her on any aspect of her life, until someone coaches her out. Her self confidence is pretty low, and high stress often overlaps with episodes of bulimia nervosa. She’s reserved as far as voicing her opinion on important matters, waiting to be asked in order not to pry, but s often seen making random little comments about nothings. People often get annoyed by her silliness at pointing out how a fly was passing by their heads just at that moment. She doesn’t make friends easily, but once she does she is very loyal and caring, trying to help in any way she can.

History and Details: 2 paragraphs minimum
Layla’s life has consisted on being tested for everything and nothing every time she got as much as a small headache. Therefore, she was quickly diagnosed with ADHD at an early age, but their parents agreed that no that their child was going to be who she was naturally. She was born 6 years after her brother, making the older one very overprotective of his little sister.
There was no way of making her stay put while teaching her anything, so Layla’s parents tried to make lessons as exhausting as they could for her. She learned slowly how to control her magic and how to control some of her impulse, letting stay put for a while, at least. She sometimes would still run off while sitting at the table eating, but she got better through the years.
Her parents noticed an incredible ability to remember certain things for a period of time, noticing small nothings on everyday business and were simply delighted by the help she could bring, as much as they hated that she’d scream her lungs out at the sight of a small spider.
She got her letter at Hogwarts, and entered, sorted into Ravenclaw, much to her parents surprise, but was bullied by fellow students at her distinctive distractedness all the time, making her depressed through most of her first year, constantly skipping classes to avoid contact with anyone who’d make fun of her.
Madam Pomfrey is a friend of her parents, making it easy for her to explain anything about her condition to the woman, but her utter dislike for hospitals or infirmaries makes her avoid it as much as she can.
