"Oh, that's okay Aisu," Gia said, feeling a bit better about that. "But I really didn't mean to hurt your ears," she added on. She felt like Aisu was hot and cold with her. Sometimes he was very nice and polite, and other times he would snap as he did before. Gia thought that this was probably just who he was, and assumed that it wasn't just with her that he acted like that. She was already over it, now preoccupied by James.
She looked up at him, fake-pouting about his short comment. Gia was used to the short jokes by now; they'd never bothered her, and she'd already accepted that she was basically done growing and would have to deal with the comments for the rest of her life. She wouldn't change her height if she could.
"I tried to find you...I sort of assumed you'd be with Rose, but you never came in," she said quickly. Gia grinned, unable to keep up her pout anymore. She wasn't really a pouty person. She didn't have time to respond to James' request before he made up her mind for her and started dragging her away. Not that she would've said no to him, but she hadn't seen Ace and Rose all summer, and she kind of had wanted to catch up with them a bit more. She shrugged it off; she'd have plenty of time to talk with them later that night, especially Rose in their dormitory. Plus she'd see them at dinner.
She stuck her foot in the door so she couldn't be pulled much further, turning back to her friends in the compartment. "Hey guys, I'll meet you at dinner! See you later!" she said, a bit loudly because she was struggling against James in the doorway. "Oh would you shove off? I'm coming!" she mumbled, still smiling. She looked over at Rose, who didn't look exactly happy with James taking Gia away...it must be because she hadn't seen James all day, and now he had barely talked to her. Her smile faded just slightly, and Gia let James pull her completely out of the compartment.

Lily looked unhappily at Ace, biting down nervously on the fingernail of her thumb. It made her insanely miserable that Gia and James would be sitting in another car, gossiping about her and the other people around her. That she wanted so desperately to be involved, to be loved and cool. Her eyes stung with indignation at Gia's closing comment--did she really expect Rose to just "be okay"? That wasn't how it worked, and she would never let it be like this. This feeling of immense loneliness even though she was still surrounded by her friends. Casting a desolate look across the hallway, her breath seemed to fall out of her mouth. The Slytherins all sat in the compartment across from her, talking and laughing. Even they seemed to be having a better train ride. Well, after the train ride, the whole school would be her oyster again, just as she liked it to be. "Good bye," she mumbled, letting her words fall flat.

Dominique walked around the compartments, checking to see if she could find her friends. She brushed away a piece of hair that was hanging by her eyes, slightly annoyed by it. Dominique had been sitting in a compartment near the back surrounded by a couple of first years who were too quiet for her liking. She had arrived way too early and sat there listening to music, ignoring the odd looks from the first years. Now that the train was on it's way, certainly she'd find a compartment with interesting people, so she left her trunk in that compartment and set off to look.
She passed through a few compartments that might've released her from her boredom, but decided to keep going, maybe find Aisu, whom she hadn't heard of all summer long. And right there, in compartment C he was, sitting with Ace and Rose.
Dominique opened the door quickly, smiling as she did so, "Oi, Rose, Ace, Aisu!" she said in a cheery voice as she let herself into the compartment swiftly and sitting down next to Aisu, without touching him; a thing she had in common with the boy is that they weren't exactly physical on their contact with people.

Briony strolled through the bustling hallway in the train, looking over all the people that she passed. There seemed to be more first years than last year, but that could just be because she wasn't used to the second years not being first years anymore. There were several people who recognized her, with various reactions. A few stopped her to say hello and how was her summer and they hoped they might have some classes together and that they really should hand out more. A few others looked at her for a moment and then, with a disgusted look, would walk the other way. She wasn't quite sure why she deserved this kind of treatment, but then again, she did drink a lot last year and consequently couldn't remember a large portion of it.
The compartments that she was passing seemed to be, for the most part, full. This worried her, she knew that her mother's farewells had cost her a bit of time but it couldn't possibly be that much. As much as she liked meeting new people she would really rather sit with some people that she already knew. In particular, her eyes were searching for a fellow Hufflepuff, one by the name of Aisu Oki. She hadn't spoken to him at all over the summer, and she missed him and his manners.
She continued her walking, now at a faster pace so she could claim a compartment if the one she wanted was taken. She heard familiar voices coming out of a compartment near to her and she rushed over towards the door, suitcase in tow. She peeked in, seeing that it was occupied by the very Hufflepuff she was looking for, as well as some of her friends from Gryffindor. A very wide grin spread across her face as she opened the door gently. There were already four people in the compartment, but that didn't bother her, they could sit on top of each other for all she cared. Briony was going to sit in this compartment.
"Aisu, I was looking for you!" She said in as light of a voice that she could, not wanting to startle him or otherwise annoy him with the loud noise. "And... I found you! Good story, I know." Briony said, avoiding the path to the giggle, but smiling nonetheless. "And Ace, Rose, and Dominique, hi!" She said offhandedly but still cheerfully before turning back to Aisu. "I have chocolates..." She whispered in his general direction with a conspiratorial smile before she turned around to sit down. She chose the seat across from Aisu, squeezing in next to Ace. She noticed the obvious tension in the compartment but didn't bother herself with it. Briony preferred to be happy rather than worry herself. "So, how was everyone's summer, anything juicy happen?" She asked the compartment in general, looking for fresh gossip for the fresh new year.
ooc://...Fail post. I deeply apologize for all those whose eyes were burnt through in trying to read this post.

The blind wizard had caught Ace's tone of voice rather easily. He smirked at the mere thought of the idea. "As tempting as that is. I don't feel like going to jail." He answered with a sigh making it sound like he really was disappointed that he couldn't kill the first years.
Aisu mentally sighed. Now he was stuck with sulky people. Just how he wanted the train ride to go. It was freaking brilliant really! Note the sarcasm. The blind wizard was getting all but bombarded by the feelings that Ace and Rose were feeling, it was enough to suffocate him. Luckily for him, he was saved by the door opening and a voice speaking. He blinked. It was Dominique.
Aisu had to fight off the habit of scooting away from Dominique when she sat down next to him, thankfully she hadn't touched him any way. Another reason why they were friends. "Hello." He greeted sounding pleased to hear the other's voice.
The blind wizard wasn't expecting to meet Briony any time soon. He had expected to hear her as they got to the Great Hall. Not in the compartment they were in now. Not that he wasn't glad to hear her voice or anything. "Hello, Briony." He greeted looking directly at her, since well she was sitting across from him, it was hard not to look ahead of you. "You were looking for me?" He questioned. Aisu was just about to ask why, when he paused as Briony spoke again. "Obviously." He said with a smirk. "Or else you wouldn't be here." He added, good naturedly.
Aisu raised an eyebrow when Briony said something about her having chocolate. He wondered if she trying to bait him for some reason. He wanted to ask if she was baiting him, but had a bit too much pride to let his sweet-tooth rule over his judgment, no matter how tempting it was. "I figured as much, than again, I can smell it easily." He responded calmly. He frowned slightly. "My summer was fine. Boring, nothing exciting happened for me." He responded not lying, but also he knew better then to tell the gossip queen about his summer, after his fourth year, he had learned his lesson quickly, on what details to give out, and what details to keep to himself..
(Don't worry about it. Your post was fine.)

Dominique started noticing the ambiance in the compartment wasn't exactly cheery, so she figured she'd try to keep the mood as light as she could.
"Aisu, how have you been? Not hearing from you during the summers still gets weird." she said, shaking her hair up a bit with her left hand. She stretched into a more comfortable position in her seat as Briony entered the compartment. "I think I might've fallen asleep on that compartment I was in earlier, I was surrounded by silent first years by the time I had noticed. It was kinda creepy, truthfully." Dominique commented lightly.
She smiled at Briony now, waving in greeting. She turned to hear Aisu's answer, frowning lightly herself, figuring there was more to his summer, but shook it off her mind quickly. "My summer was a bore, except for the time I spent with my cousins and everyone. I spent most of my time down by the sea, the house is feeling way too packed every time someone stops by for dinner." she shrugged. "That and my mum bugging me about career paths. But I've made up my mind, so whatever, you know?" she added, her voice showing that the summer had been quite full of arguments. She figured Aisu would ask her about it later, while Rose knew the details, so she didn't really need to say much more at the moment. "How about yours? I bet most people had way more fun than I did."

Impressed by Dominique's ability to make everything seem more pleasant, Rose began to feel guilty. It was clear that she and Aisu both were pushing towards a happier atmosphere than the one she was providing. Pushing a smile onto her face, she winked at her cousin, "Pretty entertaining, but y'know the usual."
She looked around at her compartment comerads, feeling herself slip into a reverie. In her mind, she was already at Hogwarts, not experiencing this awkward transition from the so-called real world to the only world she considered worthwhile. It sent a tiny thrill of fear down her back to realize that she would only get this joy for two more years, before being forced out into some awkward combination of her realities. Would she be forced into muggle habits? No, most likely not. But she couldn't imagine holding a job for long--her first priority was to be constantly entertained.
Although for her parents, her first priority was to be a Healer. Someone sweet and innocent who completed their job without complaint for days on end (if not months, weeks, years, and decades). It seemed so foreign to her, to be sitting somewhere, living the same life every day. She wanted to get through school, and to impress her parents somewhat with her efforts, but her life was for herself, and she planned to use it for fun.

Briony frowned at the lack of information they were giving her. Some part of her realized that people didn't especially like it when people talked about them behind their backs, but the larger part of her was just screaming from boredom. Briony figured that since she didn't mind people talking about her because of the attention, others would feel the same way.
She handed a chocolate to Aisu, and kept the box open in case the others wanted some also. The most frustrating answer came from Rose, the tantalizing fruit that kept moving away from the hungry. "An entertaining summer? Like what?" She asked bluntly, deciding to pry deeper but not exactly being crafty enough to make a decent question that may actually deserve an answer.
Without waiting for an answer, she spoke on in her singsong voice. "My summer was fun, my brat of a sister got an easily cured case of dragonpox," Briony felt her cheek that was still pockmarked from her own bout with the disease. "She was covered with these gross pimple things that turned green." She made a face to show exactly how disgusting the experiance had been for her. "And I met a boy." Briony said with a nod that showed that she would not tell any more until someone else gave her more to go on.

Aisu turned his head toward Dom's voice. He smirked slightly. "I've been fine, and as you know, It's not like I can use magic, my parents forbid it, well except when it come to turning writing into braille, that's the only thing they let me do with magic, and besides I could try calling you, but I would probably end up hitting the wrong numbers and calling someone else... So I'd rather not try." He said calmly. He blinded his white eyes at her. "Silent first years? Did I hear you right?" He asked jokingly. "Wow first years being silent, that's a first. If had been there. If I had been there, I probably would of been bombarded by stupid questions, such as "How are you a wizard if your blind?", and whole bunch of other questions that first years say without thinking." He said chuckle. "Sounds like your summers were fine." He commented to Dom and Rose.
Aisu smiled, as the smell of chocolate whelped around him. He turned his attention to Briony. "Thanks." He said as he reached out and took the chocolate from Briony's hand. "Is this normal chocolate or a chocolate frog?" He questioned, wanting to know before hand. He stared ahead of him, at her. He blinked and made a face. "Keep away from me, then I don't want to get it." He said being half serious half joking.
Aisu's smile faded when Briony spoke of meeting a boy. A frown replaced his smile. "Che. If you four suddenly start talking about boys. I'm leaving the compartment. I don't wish to suffer through your girl talk." He said being completely serious, then again, no self-respecting guy ever wanted to be around girls when they talked about boys and crushes and other girly things.
Aisu heard the screeching of train wheels, and he felt the train start to slow down, he planted his feet firmly on the ground, and braced himself. He sighed when the train came to a complete stop and whistle sang loudly, signaling that the train was completely stopped. "Looks like we're here." He said simply, trying to now show how glad he was that the train ride was over.
