Your professor is Professor Filius Flitwick.
Your class? Charms.
ENJOY!
(Do not begin 'lessons' until all students have arrived...or you're sure that someone has decided to be late.)
**Mention in your IC post that the Professor in some way, shape or form communicated to you that you are to meet in the library for the first class!

Charms was an easy escape route for Jay, as it had been the only class in which he'd never really had to put in much effort. Having it as first class only brightened his mood, as he practically had Flitwick eating out of the palm of his hand. This was a good sign for the year, he decided, and an even better sign that he was going to get exactly what he wanted, although he didn't really need a sign for that. It was exceedingly obvious.
Bidding a brief farewell to the rest of his table, he stood up and left abruptly, suddenly eager to get to class, especially since he hadn't seen his Slytherin friends in what felt like forever. They had probably spent last night holed up in their dorm gossiping and talking. He felt a strange twinge of jealousy at that thought--they did give off the vibe that they were the clique that nobody else could be part of, something he'd always envied. Exclusivity was half the battle to popularity, and he had only a tenuous standing on the other half.
But this was no time for insecurity, this was when he had to be his most confident. As he walked, a younger student stopped him, informing him that his class would be meeting in the library. Thanking her, he walked on his way, whistling as he went. It probably didn't bode well for his homework load that they were meeting in the library, he realized, but he'd just do whatever assignment they were going to get quickly, so then it could be done and he could party or hang out with various people, especially Gia & Roxanne, both of whom he seriously wanted to see, although not until his hangover went away and he could think more rationally, or at least he could think without being in mental pain. Greeting a few students as he walked, he grinned, loving the attention he was getting from some of the passerby. It was good to know that his reputation hadn't changed, especially as it seemed to be his ally in the war against being another nerdy Ravenclaw.
Walking into the library, he took a seat, grabbing a Transfiguration book from the shelf nearby him and began to pour through it, distracting himself from the world around him as he became immersed in the book.

It had been hard for Diana to fall asleep last night. She had so many thoughts running through her head regarding all the events of the night, Shayne's diary in particular. It was a huge step for them; it would be the one to make the difference. The possibilities were endless, as long as they played their cards right. However, she was worried about Malfoy coming into the bathroom right in the middle of their conversation; she wasn't sure how much security and protection was around the door to the Prefect's Bathroom. If they had been talking loudly, there was a chance that Scorpius might have heard them. He seemed innocent enough when he came in, and very sorry that he had interrupted them, but still. Maybe he was a good actor.
She had eaten a quick breakfast and then was off on her way to Charms class with Flitwick. He'd been there for years and years; Diana was surprised that he was still teaching at Hogwarts. Charms was one of her best classes so Diana was glad to have it as her first this year. She knew that the Slytherins had it with the Ravenclaws, so she would see Quin again this morning, and Jay for the first time all year. Jay was a bit of a weird situation for Diana; they'd always been flirty with each other, but it went far past that every once in a while. It was just a thing; he had other girls to deal with, and Diana had other issues to deal with.
Diana had to turn the other way when she was told that Charms would be held in the Library today. That could only mean a research project, which sucked. She hated feeling like she had so much homework already, even though class hadn't even started yet.
When Diana arrived in the Library, she was one of the first few students there. She was always early. Spotting Jay over at one of the tables reading, she started walking towards him with a small smile on her face, head held high and perfect posture as always. Jay seemed to be deeply immersed in the book he was reading, but she thought that saying hello was a reasonable enough interruption. Especially since it was Diana. She went to stand at the edge of his table, surveying the room once again to see if Shayne, Aria, or Quin had arrived yet. She then looked down at Jay, still smiling slightly. "Hello Jay," she said, waiting for him to acknowledge her, or better yet, throw away his book and give her his full and undivided attention like most people did. Not that she had higher expectations for Jay, but still; Diana was a princess.

Quin had parted from his table in the library as he saw seventh year Ravenclaws and Slytherins gathering. It had always been beneficial that the Ravenclaws and Slytherins often had classes together-- in fact, he wouldn't have been acquainted to Diana and the others if it hadn't been for that reason. Placing his book down on the table that Jay occupied, he stepped behind Diana, reaching to pull a chair out for her to sit-- the gentlemanly thing to do, he reminded himself, though it had become second nature to him at this point in his life.
"Good morning, Miss Diana." he said with a charming grin, waiting until she sat to take a seat himself. Noting Jay's choice of reading, he raised a brow, but lowered it quickly, greeting his fellow classmate. "Good morning, Jay." Both were one of the few people he greeted by first name. He was used to formalities, but knew they were unnecessary among friends such as these.
He wondered how Diana was taking the diary news-- he longed to pull her aside and have a chat with her, but worried their time would be cut short as class were to start soon. The current situation with the diary and being interrupted by Scorpius had left them all on edge as they had left the night before-- having someone know about their plans were the last thing they needed, especially someone who was so obviously close with a Potter. It was true that Albus was a Slytherin, but that did not necessarily mean he agreed with many of the so-called Slytherin ideals. That's why he had been working so hard on seducing Emilia Smith-- she was the in he needed into the other houses, into the minds of her friends and classmates.

Violet Pierce had walked into the library before she was even aware that her Charms class was in there. She had been planning to skip it to study on more important things, but now that she was here anyway there wasn't much choice in that matter. She lifted a lithe hand and smiled cordially to Professor Flitwick, and he seemed overly enthusiastic to see her. Most of her professors treated her that way, like the savant she was. She had assumed that they would understand after six years that she was not going to talk to them like a peer, they were her professors, they were merely there to give her the grade she deserved.
Violet strolled over to an unoccupied table in the back with her head down, not looking at the other people in her class. The table was in a corner surrounded by bookshelves that she knew were the books about the Spanish Inquisition and its magical influences. She held up a hand to stroke the binding of a leather bound book near her before taking it out from its place with a kind of reverence. The books around her always commanded more respect than her professors did and they did it in a much more polite way. They just sat there, filled with knowledge, quietly waiting for someone to pick them up.
She curled up in her chair, her arms gently draped over her legs, her eyes scrolling over the text in the book with haste. It was a good distraction, this way she wouldn't have to watch Quin flirting with Diana and the other girls in her class and she wouldn't have to fight the urge to curse them all. Of course, she wanted to curse them all anyway, they were all made of such a cruel breed. She had often wondered how it was that she was disliked more often then they were.
Violet tucked a string of dark brown hair behind her ear, hoping that she was doing a good job at being inconspicuous. She wasn't sure how many people would be taking Charms, but she hoped that there were enough tables in the library without people having to overflow onto her table. There were several reasons why this would be a terrible turn of events. The first being that she certainly did not want to do more projects than just her own. Violet was the cause of many of the more idiotic students at Hogwarts being able to pass, something that made her feel quite pathetic. The second was that she simply didn't want any company. She wanted to sit back and daydream, she didn't want to observe, and she certainly didn't want to chit chat.
ooc:// I have just committed on of the cardinal sins of roleplaying, putting my anti social character in a corner where there's no chance of interaction. Bah. Feel free to fix that by making someone interact with her, or just leave me to my stupidity. x3 It's too long of a post for me to actually redo it. Shame on me.

As the door began to open and shut more frequently, Jay's attention began to wander from his book. It was probably good that he didn't have this class with the Gryffindors, as he really wasn't in the mood to shoot the breeze with James and his henchmen, like that Ben character who never seemed to have an opinion of his own.
Suddenly, a tall blonde figure walked through the door, and all heads turned in reverence, mostly from the male population who worshipped her as the princess that she was convinced that she was. He had a lot of respect for this girl, Diana, as she was able to control any situation that she walked in to. The two had become friendly quickly into their time at Hogwarts, and from there things had...progressed. He'd never felt the need to specifically ask her out, and he also assumed that she would never agree to it, so they tended to keep their actions a secret. As she came closer, greeting him, he stood up, but as he went to pull her chair out for her, Quin was already there, which wasn't a shock. Quin was Hogwarts' Chivalry King. "Hello Diana," he replied, "How was your summer?"
Sitting down along side them, he grinned at Quin, happy to see his friend again. The two had never been exceedingly close, but luckily, they got along all right. "Hey Quin," he responded, cheer becoming imminent in his tone. It was exceedingly good to see him, and he threw the book he had been reading back into the shelves so that he was focused on the duo entirely. "So, what were you two up to last night?" He tried to sound nonchalant, but he was legitimately interested in knowing. It was bad enough that he hadn't been included, they at least owed him an explanation.

Aria hadn't been able to sleep last night, nor had she been able to eat breakfast this morning, because of the uneasiness she had felt after Scorpius Malfoy had left. She like the others was completely uneasy about the what ifs. If Scorpius had heard them, they were in major trouble, and their plans would be foiled if they weren't careful. Or maybe she was just over thinking things? It was a major possibility, as she had slipped off into her own chaotic thoughts once Scorpius has walked into the bathroom, to fetch his bag. How on earth has she... no they missed the bag that had been left in the perfects bathroom? Was completely unknown to her.
Aria now had to settle with an empty stomach and light bags under her eyes, which she had managed to cover up them up completely, before she had left the Slytherin dorm. Yes she had taken a few extra minutes to get presentable.
The Slytherin had ran into Professor Slughorn when she had passed the Great Hall. Which after scanning the words on the schedule, she decided to head over to the Charms classroom, however Professor Slughorn stopped her again, telling her that Charms class was being held in the Library. After thanking and bidding the Professor a farewell, she left for the Library.
After arriving at the Library it almost shocked her to see Quin, Jay and Diana there before her, but then again she was use to having them beat her, considering how her day had started. Aria glanced around the library again, and spotted one person in the back, the head girl. Violet Pierce. She gave the head girl a small nod, before making her way over toward Quin, Jay and Diana. "Good morning, Dia." She greeted to her friend, giving her a smile smile. "Morning guys." She greeted switching her gaze toward the two males.

Quin arrived not very long after Diana did, pulling out a chair for her and being a gentleman like always. "Morning Quin. Thank you," she said, returning his grin and sitting down. If Diana had been a princess before meeting Quin, their friendship had only helped with that, considering the way he treated her. And of course, Diana had absolutely no problem with that at all.
"It was fairly boring...nothing exciting but that's no surprise," she said with a small smile. "How was yours?" she asked, interested in what Jay had been up to all summer. Hopefully his was a bit more eventful than her's. She glanced over at Quin when Jay asked what they'd been up to last night. As well as she got along with Jay, he definitely wasn't involved with Diana and the others when it came to their, ahem, loyalties. "Oh, you know. Shayne got us into the Prefect's bathroom, so a few of us just sat around, catching up and talking. Our Common Room is always ridiculously full that time of night and we needed some privacy. What about you? I heard there was a Gryffindor party, but then again, they have those every night. You're acquainted with some of them, aren't you, Jay? Did you go?" she asked.
She was twisting the story about what she did the previous night, and she didn't want Jay to catch on. She felt bad doing it, but her only choice had been to turn it around on Jay and ask about the Gryffindor party that she was almost positive he would've attended. Aria arrived soon after, looking as tired as Diana felt. "Morning Aria," Diana said, gesturing for Aria to take a seat at their table. She wondered where Shayne was this morning; he was very rarely, if ever, late.

"Of course, my princess." Quin said with a grin. Diana was the only person that he genuinely acted that way towards-- anyone who recieved that treatment had something Quin wanted; information, a favor, social status that could somehow benefit Quin. He was distracted for a moment by the entrance of Aria, greeting her with simply a smile before opening in his book, allowing Diana to answer Jay's question. It was better that she alone answered the question-- after all, if they were to give conflicting stories, that would seem out of place and suspicious. He wouldn't have much time to talk to Diana during the lesson, not with both Jay and Aria there. Especially not Aria-- she would spew any information Quin made let out directly to Shayne.
He noticed Violet in the corner sitting by her lonesome, and closed his book quitely, standing and excusing himself from the table. He tucked his book under his arm, and approached her, smiling cautiously. Violet was a difficult specimen to woo-- she did not take kindly to the usual praises and false compliments. "Good morning, Violet." he greeted politely, taking the seat across from her and gently placing his book down, pulling out his charms textbook instead. "It was a shame I didn't see you on the train yesterday." he admitted, sounding truthful.
Violet was an extremely intelligent girl, and was useful to have around. Plus, he had the feeling that she was somewhat interested in him, so it was nice to have a simpler target than his usual attempts-- such as his attempts with Emilia currently.

Her nose was already buried in the book by the time others started entering. Had she seen Aria's nod, she still would not have reciprocated it. As it was, her eyes were much too busy soaking in information about Isabella I of Castile to notice Aria, or anything else for that matter. If she had noticed the way Diana was acting, she would be less serene, but she was perfectly happy concentrating on the leather bound wonder on the table.
Violet's eyes flashed up as a voice sounded much closer than the murmurings coming from the other side of the room where most of the bodies were stationed. A warm look came over her eyes as she saw Quin taking the seat across from her. She inwardly cursed the fluttery feeling in her stomach, it was pathetic and weak. Of course, Violet may as well have fallen for Quin as any other guy in this school, they were all the same. At least Quin wasn't a numbskull.
"Hello Quin," Violet said with a meek smile. "I had to keep an eye on the new prefects, I would have loved to have seen you on the train as well," She said, a light pink blush starting to spread across her cheeks as she accidentally used the word love. It was a word with much too many connotations to accompany it. Words like that were words that she generally kept far away, too much emotion attached to them. Of course, he would know that she didn't mean it in the actual love sense, he was at least that intelligent.
"How was your first night back?" Violet asked politely, closing her book gently and giving Quin her full attention, that was the polite thing to do after all. The cordiality of the conversation was rather obnoxious, but that's just the way people talked to Violet unless it was one of her slight rivals. She had always figured it was because people thought it made them sound smarter, and in a way she supposed it did.

Diana's answer displeased him, as she seemed to be lying. Yes, she'd picked up on the Slytherin talent to bend the truth, but even as a Ravenclaw, he'd long since deciphered the art of the lie, and he used it frequently. There was clearly something he was missing, but if she didn't want him to know what it was, it was probably best for him to pretend that he knew nothing, biding his time was a specialty of his. "Oh, it was raucous. Lots of partying, the usual. That sounds fun about the thing with Shayne though!" His smile was closely resembling a smirk, but she let that go. It would work out in the end.
"The Gryffindor party was...interesting, surely, love. Yes, I did attend, and I must say, I was well-entertained." If she was going to be cryptic, he would reciprocate, and he was enjoying the act of it. After all, letting her in was probably not a good idea, especially for Gia & Roxanne's sakes. What was he even going to do about that whole fiasco? He'd liked Roxanne forever, truly, but she had never seemed interested in him...and then Gia had given him some sort of an impression....but then there was the kiss. He stopped himself, inhaling before he continued to think.
Roxanne had been drunk, but they'd been drunk together numerous times before without anything happening. Was this a change? Did he /want/ it to be a change? It had seemed so clear to him at the time that it had meant something, but what was going to happen when he saw her today? Would she even remember? No. No. No. This wasn't happening, everything was fine, or it would be fine, he'd make it fine. Suddenly, Aria was with them, and Quin was gone--clearly, he'd missed a lot while deep in thought. Pushing a mask of confidence onto his face, he greeted Aria with a smile and a, "Hello," beckoning for her to come sit with them.

Admittedly, Violet was a relatively attractive in comparison to many of the girls in Hogwarts, though there were definitely those who were more attractive in his opinion-- Diana being one, perhaps Miss Smith, though he wasn't quite sure about that just yet. Violet had the appearance of intelligence, and that factored into Quin's mind when it came to what made one attractive. She was a bit bookish for his liking-- despite the fact girls he often chased after were not strong willed, he particularly liked a challenge. After all, that's what made the chase all the more fun, was it not?
"Of course. Mustn't let those little prefects wander on their lonesome." Both Quin and Violet had been prefects together the year before, hence their familiarity being stronger than Violet's with the rest of the house. "But I suppose it's for the best. You had your responsibilities." he allowed, smiling reassuringly.
"As for my first evening, it was... uneventful, I suppose." he lied suavely, shrugging gently. "I spoke to some people I hadn't seen for the summer, then watched the drunken mess that was the Gyrffindor party." He said with a small laugh. "I would say you would have enjoyed it, but I know raucous parties such as that aren't quite your thing." He paused, the smiled, raising a brow. "You're more of a nice dinner out. Perhaps the first Hogsmeade weekend?" he asked, his smile widening even further. He assumed this could go either way, a yes or a no, but it wouldn't hurt to try, plus he had nothing to lose if she said no.

Aria fought off a smirk. She had heard what Diana had said, and was almost, almost surprised by the twisting of the truth her best friend had done. Almost but not quite. The Slytherin smiled at her best friend, when the 7th year gestured for her to sit down at their table, which she did, and took the seat that was next to Diana.
The Slytherin watched as Quin walked away over toward the head girl, Violet. Before she switched her gaze back to Jay and Diana. Aria didn't comment on the whole party fiasco, as it was none of her business and frankly she didn't care about it."So how were your mornings so far, Dia, Jay?" She asked, hoping to make a conversation with them, even if it was rather light and pointless. She was honestly hoping Shayne would save her with his entrance to class, or maybe Quin would come back over, either way she'd be saved from this pitiful conversation starter.
(Jeez my post sucked. Sorry guys that's all I got...)

Diana grinned back at Quin, satisfied that she was indeed considered a princess. It was one thing to feel that you were in a special position, but it was quite another to be openly recognized for it. Quin didn't stay much longer, confusing Diana slightly. She just watched as he got up and left the table, polite as always, to go start a conversation with...Violet Pierce?
"What the fuck is he talking to her for..." Diana muttered, looking around the table. Pierce wasn't exactly Diana's best friend. She was a Muggle-born, which automatically made Diana turn away from her. But aside from that, Violet seemed to disapprove of Pureblood pride, alcohol, sex, and fun...all of which were things that Diana took part in and supported. She had no idea why someone like Quin would want to talk to someone like Violet, except for the fact that they were in the same house and year, which was something that Diana couldn't even say about herself and Quin.
Diana started paying more attention to Jay, who was talking about the Gryffindor party. "I'm sure you had a great time," she said dryly. It was no secret that Jay was friendly with both Death Eaters and people who would support the Order, but Diana usually wasn't against him for it. He was putting himself in a dangerous position, and it wasn't Diana's responsibility to pull him out of it. When the time came, she hoped that Jay chose the right side.
From there, Aria picked up the conversation, asking about their mornings. Diana shrugged. "Some more sleep would've been nice, but otherwise it was good. I really hate being in class right now...a research project, right away? Seriously?" she asked. Diana wasn't in the greatest mood anymore, the result of the combination of Quin/Violet, Jay/Gryffindors, and Diana/schoolwork.

Diana really needed to learn how to mutter more quietly, Jay reflected. Clearly she wasn't that pleased about Quin being with Violet, and why would she be? Violet was about as wild and interesting as a piece of driftwood, she'd been marred by the promise of an academic future. The two had been close in the beginning, but she'd abandoned the teenager within her to become the youngest adult at Hogwarts, every time he saw her, he had to resist the urge to refer to her as Professor. After all, she was practically an abstinent little angel--no drinking? Sex? Anything? She probably just spent most of her time alone in the Common Room, thinking about how superior she was to the vast majority of the other students. Although apparently Quin was worth her time, she seemed happy to be with him.
"It was actually really good," Jay responded with a smile, "although I'm sure that you had a better time. You always seem to be the life of the room." It was fun being in between the two 'rival' houses, it left him with so much leverage over both to be able to say that he knew the goings on of the other house. For Jay, it was all about power, and this was one occasion where he was able to use it, although he was being purposely vague to protect the 'innocent' of sorts.
Turning to Aria, he added, "Quite good, my dear. Usual time chilling with the Ravenclaws, now I'm here with my Slythie girls wishing that we don't get assigned anything too major. Yourself?"
ooc; This is totally awful, sorry guys, I just have no inspiration. =(

Violet smiled at him, noticing through her peripherals that some of the others seemed bothered that Quin was talking to her instead of them. She almost felt bad that she was stealing him from them, but then again, she deserved some company now and again too. She brushed a hair out of her eyes, nodding as he mentioned her responsibilities. To be truthful, she would have gone to look after the prefects even if she hadn't been asked to.
A faint frown appeared on her face as he mentioned the Gryffindor party, thinking about all the vile things that probably had taken place. She sincerely hoped that he had not taken part in any of those things, but that was probably too much to hope. She refused to think about Quin snogging some girl, but of course he did that kind of thing without being drunk; everyone in this school did.
A pink blush grew hastily over her cheeks as Quin asked her out. Had he asked her out? She had never really been asked out before. She couldn't be sure, but she supposed that that was the way this kind of thing was supposed to go. "Ummm.. I..." She said quietly to the table, not able to look up at Quin as if he was some blinding light. "Maybe... If I'm not busy." Violet told him as she peeked back up at him to gauge his reaction. She didn't want to say yes or no either way, in case it was a trick that may result in her own embarrassment. But of course, what if he was serious?
Violet quickly glanced over to Diana, she knew that she and Quin had a thing going on. She resisted the urge to stick out her tongue at her, knowing that it was much too immature for a seventh year to be doing, not to mention the Head Girl. But the mere idea was enough to make her smile to herself as she turned back to Quin. She tried to think of something to talk about, but nothing came immediately to mind. "What book are you reading?" She asked, motioning to the one that he had replaced with the charms textbook.

Because the table he had just left was behind him, Quin could not see the disapproving looks that were being thrown in both he and Violet were receiving. However, he knew they were receiving them-- it was true that Violet was a muggleborn, but she was useful. Quin was raised to appreciate the pureblooded race, but was also taught to take advantage of anyone who may be useful in bettering his social standing. Violet was useful in that she had power and authority, the most a student could have in Hogwarts, and that was particularly useful.
When he had asked her out, since that was what he had done in a manner of speaking, she had blushed. That was perhaps one of the most satisfying signs of the flirting trade, showing that it was a successful endeavor, regardless of what her answer was. She refused to look at him, and didn't quite answer yes or no, but rather gave him a 'maybe'. He smiled encouragingly, then nodded. "It's perfectly alright." He said soothingly, almost like a purr. "You'll let me know." he said, not asking.
She turned his attention back to his book, and he smiled, pulling the book back out again and handing it to her for her to examine. "Othello." he stated as he gave her the book. "Personally one of my favorite play of Shakespeare." he said with a small smile. However, it was not his favorite for the reasons most would think. His favorite character by far was Iago-- probably Shakespeare's best villain.

Violet's mind vaguely wandered off into daydreams of what the dinner may be like if she didn't back out. She snapped back to reality as she realized that even if she didn't back, she would almost definitely be roped into doing some Head Girl type duties. Of course, she could always bail out of her duties, but the thought of that left her slightly uneasy. Backing out of something just wasn't like her, she was very reliable. She supposed was slightly happy that she hadn't committed to the date (Was it even a date? She wasn't sure.) completely.
"I've never read any Shakespeare," She stated, running her fingers over the book. Fiction made her wary, she preferred her own daydreams to the ramblings of anyone else's. "What's it about?" She asked, halfway out of curiousity and half out of not having anything else to talk about. Social interaction was mostly beyond her, other than talking about scholastic matters or perhaps when she was talking down to someone less worthy than herself.
She opened the book, scanning a page at random. "Why does he have to use such complicated language? He could get his point across much easier by using simpler dialect," Violet said with a look of distaste. Artistry for artistry's sake didn't appeal to her, and that's what Mr. William Shakespeare was doing, in her opinion. It wasn't impressive or emotion-grabbing, it was merely bragging about his superiority. The hypocrisy of this thought went over her head, as most of her hypocrisy did.

He smiled when she mentioned that she never had read Shakespeare. He had assumed that most muggleborns had read his work-- afterall, he was perhaps the greatest muggle writer in the history of literature. "He's an excellent writer, I reccomend him." Quin said with a smile, thinking of the correct words to describe the plot of Othello. Like many of Shakespeare's works, it was more complicated than it appeared on the surface.
"It's about betrayal, deciet, jealousy, passion that transcends normal boundaries." he said, satisfied with the vague and yet elaborate description he gave of the plot. Othello was interesting, more complicated yet basic compared to works like Romeo and Juliet-- too simple-- or A Midsummer Night's Dream-- too childish. He smiled, nodding gently. "Honestly one of his best works, possibly rivaling Macbeth and Hamlet."
He couldn't help but laugh when she critiqued the writing style. "That was the style of the time." he explained, reaching to take the book back from her. "His style was still unique-- it was more artistic than those during his time. He put so much more effort into it than just writing words. He wrote in iambic pentameter, it was pratically poetry." He explained. It wasn't often he got to explain his love for Shakespeare.
"And besides that, his characters were so well written, so beautifully created." he said with a wave of his hand, then paused for a moment. "I apologize, I'm rambling." he said quietly, lowering his eyes and trying his best to look modest. He often didn't do much talking like that, and he knew better to get carried away with such things when 'working', since most conversations he had were 'working'.

Aria snickered at Diana’s not-so-quiet mutter of dislike for the muggle Ravenclaw, who was also Head Girl. The gray-eyed witch leaned over to whisper into her best friend’s ear, a playful smirk playing on her lips. “Who knows, maybe he’s just using her?” she nearly purred into her best friend’s ear.
The death eater to-be, looked at Diana and nodded once before she turned her head to Jay, and didn’t comment on the party or anything that was being said, as it had been none of her business in the first place. “Some more sleep would have been lovely.” She responded. “And for the research project. I know. I wish we could have easy classes today, instead jumping right into schoolwork…” Aria agreed with her best friend on the schoolwork part.
Aria shot him a small almost playful glare. “Jay…. Since when did we become your Slythie girls?” She asked as she gestured to herself and Diana. She shrugged her shoulders. “Mine? Besides lack of sleep, missing breakfast, oh my morning was just lovely.” She said with a roll of her eyes.
